Dr. Sheri McKinstry, BSc, Bsc (Dent), DMD, MPH, M.Dent/Dip. Pediatric Dentistry, FRCD(C) Registered Pediatric Dentist. Dr. Sheri McKinstry is an Anishinaabekwe from Treaty 1 territory and a proud member of Sagkeeng First Nation in Manitoba. With extensive experience in pediatric dentistry, she is dedicated to improving the oral health of First Nation children and communities.
Dr. McKinstry holds multiple degrees, including a Doctor of Dental Medicine and a Master of Public Health, with a focus on Indigenous Peoples’ Health. She has provided dental care in First Nation communities for over a decade and now serves as an assistant professor at the University of Saskatchewan's College of Dentistry. Her research focuses on the oral health experiences of First Nations children.
Dr. McKinstry is committed to using her expertise to benefit Indigenous communities while advancing her academic and research career.
