Dr. Dino Georgas, B.Sc., DMD, MSD, Cert. Perio, FCDS(BC) is a highly accomplished Periodontist based in Vancouver, British Columbia. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Cell Biology and his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of British Columbia, graduating with honours and multiple awards. He later completed advanced specialty training in Periodontics and Implant Surgery at the University of Washington, where he also earned a Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) for his research on the oral manifestations of HIV in female patients.
Dr. Georgas holds a Certification in Periodontics and is a Fellow of the College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia. Since beginning private practice in 1998 as a Certified Specialist in Periodontics, he has focused on comprehensive periodontal care, periodontal plastic procedures, and implant-related surgeries. He has served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Washington and as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of British Columbia, where he continues to contribute to the graduate Periodontics program. Throughout his career, he has authored research publications, delivered professional lectures, and provided mentorship through dental study clubs.
