Dr. Farrag earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery with honours from Cairo University in 2006 and began his career as both an associate dentist and teaching assistant. In 2013, he advanced his clinical practice in Doha, Qatar, before relocating to Canada. After completing the Canadian equivalency process, he became licensed to practice in British Columbia.
He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree and prosthodontics diploma at the University of British Columbia, and serves as a clinical teaching assistant at UBC’s School of Dentistry. Dr. Farrag is recognized for his dedication to academic and clinical excellence, receiving the Association of Prosthodontists of Canada Award for Academic Achievement in 2022 and the American College of Prosthodontics Education Foundation Research Fellowship Grant in 2023.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Farrag enjoys engaging with the next generation of dental professionals, giving students hands-on training, and continuing to pursue innovative treatment techniques.
