Dr. Bougher, a Vancouver-area dentist since 1992, earned his B.Sc. in 1990 and Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1992 from the University of Alberta. After practicing in North Vancouver and Burnaby, he partnered with Dr. Ken French downtown and in 2011 became sole proprietor of the practice. Under his leadership, The Vital Smile has thrived through decades of advancing patient care and community focus.
Driven by both scientific precision and heartfelt compassion, Dr. Bougher understands patients well—“having been in the chair too many times.” He continually refines his skills, currently working toward a Level 5 Certificate in Smile Design from the Frontier Institute. His philosophy centers on excellence, conservative treatment, open communication, and helping people feel confident through oral wellness.
